Live and in-person! It's Novant Health Charlotte Marathon Weekend
Charlotte - Runners return to uptown Charlotte and surrounding streets
this weekend for the 17th iteration of the Novant Health Charlotte
Marathon. Last year's virtual event kept the streak intact, and event
organizers are ready to safely welcome thousands back for this year's
in-person events.
"Our number one goal is to produce a safe, fun, and ‘live' event that
runners, their families, our partners, and friends can all feel good
about," said Tim Rhodes, RunCharlotte president, and Race Director for the
Novant Health Charlotte Marathon. "The running community is ready to
celebrate the return of the marathon, and quite frankly, so are we."
Newcomers and veteran runners can expect a weekend with plenty of new
twists, including expanded sections of greenways along the back half of the
marathon course, a new half marathon relay, and an all-new location for the
pre-event expo at NoDa Brewing Company.
"We're listening to runner feedback," added Alaina Williams, Event
Experience Coordinator for the Novant Health Charlotte Marathon. "We're
easing new elements into the weekend that will keep the event fresh yet
familiar, no matter how far you run with us, or how many times you've run."
The event lineup includes a full marathon, half marathon, rucking half
marathon, full and half marathon relays, a 5k, and the Chick-fil-A Kids'
Dash. All events will start on Graham Street, along the northeast (third
base) side of Charlotte Knight's stadium, headed south. All events finish
on W. 4th Street, along the northeast (left field). Participation benefits
Novant Health's Hemby Children's Hospital.

Pre-Event Expo
10:00am - 7:00pm
NoDa Brewing Company (NoDa Brewing will tap a keg of "Mile Marker 22 IPA,"
produced exclusively for the Novant Health Charlotte Marathon Expo. For
each pint sold, $1 will be donated to Novant Health Hemby Children's
Hospital.)
Saturday, November 13
7:20am - Novant Health Charlotte Marathon, half marathon, and marathon/half
marathon relay starts.
7:35am - Feetures 5K start
10:20am – Chick-Fil-A Kids Dash
