  2016 BMW Dallas Marathon to stream live on WFAA.com; three-hour broadcast 
                        airs on WFAA-TV December 11

Follow all the action in 2016 BMW Dallas Marathon, Half Marathon, Behringer 
                       Relay and Pro Relay Challenge

DALLAS (December 8, 2016) - WFAA-TV, the Dallas-Fort Worth ABC affiliate, 
will air the 46th BMW Dallas Marathon, Half Marathon and Behringer Relay 
live on Sunday, December 11. The exclusive home of the BMW Dallas Marathon 
broadcast since 2005, WFAA's live, high-definition coverage begins at 8 
a.m. CST from the BMW Dallas Marathon start/finish line in downtown Dallas. 
Three hours of live race footage will also be streamed online at WFAA.com.

Viewers can tune in for race commentary and analysis, as well as feature 
coverage of the Pro Relay Challenge, which partners five professional and 
Olympic Trials qualifying runners with each of Dallas' professional sports 
franchises in a competitive relay race. The race broadcast will include 
guest appearances by Rio 2016 Olympics Team USA runners Meb Keflezighi and 
Desi Linden, and viewers will enjoy highlights of this year's race 
partnership with BMW, which brings more than 100 BMW cars to the 26.2-mile 
course, and watch the drama unfold as local athlete and 2015 Dallas 
Marathon champion Logan Sherman seeks back-to-back marathon victories.  

Hosts Juli Henner-Benson and Todd Whitthorne anchor the BMW Dallas Marathon 
broadcast, with course analysts Mike Leslie, Sonia Azad and Ted Madden. 
WFAA meteorologist Colleen Coyle will be running in the BMW Dallas Half 
Marathon as part of the 2016 Last Woman Running promotion, raising money 
for Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. 

In addition to the downtown start/finish line set, WFAA will use a 
multitude of cameras on race day to capture course footage, including 
specially built motorcycles, helicopters and more. For more information,

BMW DALLAS MARATHON BROADCAST TEAM

Juli Henner-Benson, Host
Benson represented the United States in the 1500-meter run at the 1996 
Olympic Games in Atlanta and currently serves as coach to the United States 
Air Force Academy cross-country program, a role she has held since 2009. In 
2013 she was selected as assistant coach for the U.S. team at the IAAF 
World Championships in Moscow, Russia. Benson is a veteran marathon 
commentator, having contributed regularly to race broadcasts for the New 
York City, Boston, Los Angeles and BMW Dallas Marathon. A graduate of James 
Madison University, Benson currently lives in Highlands Ranch, CO, with her 
husband Robert.

Todd Whitthorne, Host
Whitthorne has enjoyed an Emmy award-winning broadcast career, and is 
recognized as one of the country's leading public speakers on health and 
wellness. The marathoner produced and hosted a nationally syndicated radio 
program for eight years and has served as co-host of the BMW Dallas 
Marathon race broadcast since 2005. Whitthorne is a graduate of UCLA with a 
Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology and exercise physiology.
