BMW Dallas Marathon, Half Marathon and SMU Cox School of Business Relay
and Chipotle Mexican Grill Fuel Dallas Runners All Fall
BMW Dallas Marathon Welcomes Chipotle as Partner for 2017 Events
DALLAS (September 26, 2017) - The 2017 BMW Dallas Marathon, Half Marathon
and SMU Cox School of Business Relay announced today a partnership with
Chipotle Mexican Grill that will bring their delicious food made from real
ingredients to all Social 5K runs throughout the fall. The partnership will
also include a fundraising event for Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for
Children at Dallas/Fort Worth Chipotle locations on Tuesday, November 14.
"Chipotle is such a community-minded organization, and we are happy to be
welcoming them back as a partner," said Paul Lambert, President of the BMW
Dallas Marathon. "We are grateful for Chipotle's generosity to Texas
Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, and I know their presence at our
Social 5Ks this fall will make for a fun and filling race environment."
As a partner, Chipotle Mexican Grill will be offering food to the first 500
participants who sign up for the BMW Dallas Marathon Social 5Ks. Each race
is hosted by area BMW centers will be held throughout North Texas,
including:
- Thursday, September 28 at 7 p.m. - Meadowmere Lane (3000 Meadowmere Lane,
Grapevine, TX 76051)
- Thursday, October 12 at 7 p.m.- Autobahn Social Run (2401 University
Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76107)
- Thursday, October 26 at 7 p.m. - BMW of Arlington Social Run (Viridian,
1200 Viridian Park Lane, Arlington, TX 76006)
- Thursday, November 2 at 7 p.m. - BMW of Dallas Social Run (Flag Poll
Hill, 8015 Doran Cir, Dallas, TX 75201)
- Thursday, November 16 at 7 p.m. - Classic BMW Social Run (6800 Dallas
Parkway, Plano, TX 75204)
Also, on Tuesday, November 14, Chipotle locations throughout Dallas/Fort
Worth will donate 50 percent of purchases to the Texas Scottish Rite
Hospital for Children from those who mention the organization at check out.
Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is the primary beneficiary of the
BMW Dallas Marathon - the BMW Dallas Marathon has donated more than $3.9
million to the hospital since 1997. This is the fourth year Chipotle has
hosted a fundraising day for the organization.
The 47th running of the BMW Dallas Marathon, Half Marathon, and SMU Cox
School of Business Relay will take place on Sunday, December 10, 2017. The
first of five BMW Dallas Marathon Social 5Ks is in Plano, Texas on
Thursday, September 14. Registration for the 2017 BMW Dallas Marathon, Half
Marathon, SMU Cox School of Business Relay, BMW Weekend Series and Social
