   Nicole Dimercurio Signs Agency Contract With Elite Runner Management

Nicole DiMercurio, On Running ZAP Endurance athlete and former All-SEC 
distance runner at the University of Georgia, has signed an agency contract 
with Elite Runner Management, the Michigan based sports agency headed by 
Chris Mengel.

"Nicole DiMercurio is a gifted runner who is committed to the process of 
fulfilling her potential and achieving great things as a professional. 
Finishing 6th in last year's Boston Marathon in horrific weather conditions 
in only her third marathon was pretty remarkable. Her grit and resolve to 
compete against the best athletes in the world are unquestioned," said 
Mengel. "ERM is excited at the prospect of representing Nicole as her 
career moves forward."

DiMercurio has already qualified to race in the 2020 US Olympic Marathon 
Trials in Atlanta next February. She achieved the qualifier by running the 
USATF "A" standard at the 2017 US Marathon Championships in Sacramento, 
where she finished 11th in a personal best of 2:36:01. Among her many 
accomplishments, DiMercurio is the defending champion and course record 
holder of the Anthem Shamrock Half Marathon in Virginia Beach; she also was 
champion of the Dallas Half Marathon in 2017. The year after graduating 
from Georgia she established herself as a professional by finishing 2nd in 
the 2015 AJC Peachtree 10k Road Race in Atlanta. 

DiMercurio believes that working with ERM will create opportunities as her 
career progresses. "I chose Chris because he believes in me. It's rare to 
find people who see potential you yourself can't see, and Chris saw 
potential in me," said DiMercurio. "I'm impressed that he treats his 
athletes as more than just employees. I can tell he cares about them as 
humans."

Peter Rea, DiMercurio's coach at ZAP, was pleased with the announcement. 
"Nicole and Elite Runner Management are the perfect marriage going forward 
toward 2020 and beyond. Chris and ERM possess both the knowledge and  
contacts within the industry to assist Nicole as she pursues the 
realization of her talents," said Rea.                            

In addition to her training, DiMercurio runs her own small business, an 
Etsy shop called "Sincerely By Nicole." The shop, which focuses on digital 
prints and designs of motivational quotes, provides her with a creative 
outlet beyond her running. "Sincerely By Nicole" has even expanded into a 
blog written by DiMercurio "to connect the everyday runner to the 
professional running world and ultimately point out that every runner faces
