QUANTICO, VA (March 9, 2015) - Runners can obtain guaranteed access to the

capital. Access Granted registration must be completed by midnight on
Monday, March 30 to be eligible to run 'The People's Marathon.'

designed brass-plated finisher medals embossed with the unique distance
that honors the year the Marine Corps was founded. Runners also will
receive specially designed 17.75K bibs with timing device, and a forest
green technical shirt.
While the Marine Corps 17.75K course occurs through scenic tree-lined
Prince William Forest Park located in Eastern Prince William County, the
11.03 mile run is no 'day in the park.' Runners must be up for the
challenge of the course that winds along the inclines, twists and turns of
the forest and over both asphalt and gravel roads.
