MCM Now Offers Online Parking Reservations Through Parking Panda
Runners and Spectators Can Select From DC & VA
Locations for MCM Weekend this October
QUANTICO, VA (Sept. 5, 2014) - Arriving in the nation's capital for a
destination event like the Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) is exciting, but
finding available parking can be maddening for the thousands of
participants and spectators in a hurry to get from place to place. Runners
and their supporters now can pre-purchase guaranteed electronic parking
passes for convenient lots and garages in advance of MCM Weekend this
October. Through a new partnership with Parking Panda, a national leader in
online parking reservations, runners and spectators can park near Marathon
events without the anxiety of searching for available spots.
Anyone can reserve parking for their vehicle instantly through the MCM's
Transportation page, or beginning in September through the MCM App.

availability. Reservations can be made online and through a smartphone.
Parking passes can be printed or displayed on a smartphone for guaranteed
entrance to the selected location.
Free garage parking is available on Marathon day in Crystal City at 23rd
and Crystal Drive. Free parking also is available at the Health & Fitness
Expo presented by GE, inside the DC Armory from Oct. 23 to 25. The Expo is
open free to the public.
