Marine Corps Marathon Opens Runner and Spectator Technology Services
Track Runners and get the MCM Weekend news & info with updated App
QUANTICO, VA (Oct. 11, 2017) - The Marine Corps Marathon Organization is
releasing an updated version of the Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) App for
iPhone and Android mobile devices. Offered free of charge the MCM App has
been designed in partnership with AVAI Mobile of Austin, TX.
Obtain essential information through the App to include MCM and MCM10K
course maps, transportation information, such as free shuttles and parking,
view video highlights and images and the MCM Weekend event schedule. The
App also provides weather updates, news alerts and live finisher results.
Spectators and MCM volunteers also can utilize the MCM App as they plan
their movement throughout event weekend from Oct. 20-22.
Through the MCM App, anyone can access the Track A Runner service to
receive instant updates by email or text, or have them posted automatically
to Facebook or Twitter. This service is free and sponsored by Hyundai,
Arlington County VA and MarathonFoto.
Register free of charge to track a MCM or MCM10K runner through the App, or
the interactive page of the MCM website at www.marinemarathon.com.
Registering to Track A Runner must be completed prior to Marathon Day
Sunday, Oct 22. Unofficial live MCM and MCM10K results also will be
available on both the website and MCM App.

and patriotism of its participants, the Marine Corps Marathon (MCM), is
also known as "The People's Marathon," as runners from all walks of life
