Mississauga Marathon Launches 2nd Annual Scotiabank Charity Challenge
Mississauga, ON – In an effort to raise additional funds for local and
national charities, The Mississauga Marathon announces the Scotiabank
Charity Challenge will return for a second year. This fundraising program
allows participants to personalize their own fundraising page with a
fundraising goal, pictures and videos, send emails to friends and family
asking for their support, build a fundraising team and enter offline
donations. Participants can also share their personalized fundraising page
with social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. As
part of the program, Scotiabank will provide a donation for the top charity
in each of the following categories:
$2000 to the charity with the highest fundraising total
$2000 to the charity with the largest Fundraising team (minimum of $20.00
raised per member)
$2000 to the charity with the highest average fundraising per runner
average (minimum 10 members)

spectators, the total raised was over $135,000!
