GORE-TEX® Philadelphia Marathon Announces
Comcast as Title Sponsor of 2015 Health & Fitness Expo
PHILADELPHIA (October 30, 2015) – The GORE-TEX® Philadelphia Marathon has
added Comcast as the title sponsor for the 2015 Health & Fitness Expo.
Serving as a kick off to Race Weekend, the Comcast Health & Fitness Expo is
a free, two day event taking place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on
Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21.
"Comcast has a stellar reputation as one of our city's most committed
corporate citizens, and we are excited to have them join the GORE-TEX®
Philadelphia Marathon family," said Race Director Desiree Peterkin-Bell.
"The Comcast Health & Fitness Expo will be the perfect opportunity for us
to welcome an estimated 30,000 participants to the City of Brotherly Love
and Sisterly Affection and help them prepare for race day, where they will

The Comcast Health & Fitness Expo, which is free and open to the public, is
filled with vendors showcasing the newest running apparel, shoes and
accessories, distributing product samples, and offering tips on health.
There are opportunities to check out innovative products and ideas in the
worlds of running, fitness and nutrition. Participants can also take part
in informative seminars and ask any last-minute questions they may have
about the course and other Race Weekend activities.
As part of their sponsorship, Comcast will have an interactive area at the
Expo where special guests will make appearances. Michele Lepe, who plays
Nina, the host of Sprout's "The Good Night Show," will demonstrate a series
of Sproutlet Stretches, which also are great for pre-run stretching, in the
Comcast booth. Expo attendees can join Nina on Friday, November 20 from 1
p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, November 21 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. "The
Good Night Show," which airs every night from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET on
Sprout, the 24-hour pre-school TV network, is designed as a tool to help
parents wind down their children and encourage a bedtime routine with
nightly stretching, story-telling and songs.
