P3R Announces 3-year Partnership with Brooks Running Company
Brooks will be the official footwear and apparel sponsor for the DICK'S
Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon, EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler
and GNC Live Well Liberty Mile
PITTSBURGH - P3R announced a new 3-year partnership with Brooks Running
Company that designates Brooks as the official footwear and apparel sponsor
of P3R's signature races, including the DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh
Marathon, GNC Live Well Liberty Mile and EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler.
"Partnering with P3R is an exciting opportunity for Brooks as we continue
to engage with and inspire runners everywhere," said Brooks Senior Manager
of U.S. Marketing Matt Weiss. "The DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh
Marathon and other P3R series events represent some of the marquee running
events in the Pittsburgh area, and we're excited to bring Run Happy to
everyone who participates in them."
As part of the agreement, P3R and Brooks will offer DICK'S Sporting Goods
Pittsburgh Marathon participants the opportunity to purchase Brooks
finisher jackets and select training gear. Brooks will also have a large
presence throughout P3R's signature race series, including the GNC Live
Well Pittsburgh Health and Fitness Expo.

Each year more than 40,000 runners from all 50 states and 20 countries
participate in P3R's signature races. The 2016-17 schedule of events
includes 4th EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler (Sunday, Nov. 6), 9th DICK'S Sporting
Goods Pittsburgh Marathon (Sunday, May 5-7) and GNC Live Well Liberty Mile
