Pro Football Hall of Fame Marathon Price to Increase February 1
CANTON, Ohio (January 18, 2015) - Registration for the 2nd Annual Pro
Football Hall of Fame Marathon is ahead of expectations, and the next price
increase will take place Sunday, February 1. Through Saturday, January 31,
participants can register for the Marathon for $90, Half Marathon for $70
and new Team Relay for $40.
The Full Marathon is capped at 1,000 participants, the Half Marathon is
capped at 3,000 participants, and the relay is limited to 500 teams.
"We offer a premium spring race and we're thrilled to see spaces filling up
fast," said Jim Chaney, marathon executive director. "We encourage those
who plan to run with us in April to register early."
The Pro Football Hall of Fame Marathon offers a fast marathon course and a
walker friendly half marathon course.
Every participant will receive an event shirt, custom finisher medal and
fleece finisher blanket.
Race weekend begins Friday, April 24, with the Subway Health & Fitness Expo
from 3 - 8 p.m. The Palace Theatre will also provide a community movie at 7
p.m.
On Saturday, April 25, the inaugural Gold Jacket 5k will take place at 8
a.m. and the Subway Health & Fitness Expo will continue from 9 a.m. - 6
p.m. Pro Football Hall of Fame Presentations will take place throughout the
day.
On Sunday, April 26, the main events will take place as the Marathon, Half
Marathon and new Team Relay kick-off at 7 a.m.
