Running Industry Veteran Stacey Campbell Named Executive Race Director
Of The Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas Marathon & 1/2 Marathon
TAMPA, Fla. / LAS VEGAS, Nev. (March 8, 2019) - The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon
Series® is pleased to announce the appointment of Stacey Campbell as the
Executive Race Director for the Humana Rock 'n' Roll® Las Vegas Marathon &
1/2 Marathon. Campbell will bring her more than 15 years of global running
industry experience to this marquee event in Las Vegas that has become
internationally regarded with a field of participants that is consistently
represented by more than 80 countries, regions and territories each year.
Campbell will also continue to serve as Global Operations Director for the
Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series.

pinnacle event in our series, with runners coming from around the globe to
have the unique opportunity to run the Las Vegas Strip at night. With
Stacey's experience there is a great opportunity to further the event's

starting several successful Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series events in
virtually every corner or the world, she will utilize that knowledge to
ensure that the Humana Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas Marathon & 1/2 Marathon
remains a must-do race."
In this position, Campbell will lead all aspects of the Humana Rock 'n'
Roll Las Vegas Marathon & 1/2 Marathon, including overseeing the event
course, traffic control plan, and venue layouts, among other
responsibilities. Campbell will work closely with the local Las Vegas
authorities, including the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Association
(LVCVA), helping to accentuate everything the local Vegas community has to
offer while being an international destination.

and I'm excited to take on this new role," said Stacey Campbell. "With so

Campbell's extensive experience in endurance sports dates back to 2004,
when she began in staffing and administration. In 2008, Campbell joined
Competitor Group Inc. and the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series as the Director
of Marketing & Consumer Relations, then serving in a variety of senior
capacities, including being promoted to Head of Global Events in 2015. In
that position she launched over a dozen Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series
events in multiple international markets including Chile, China, Columbia,
Europe and Mexico.
Runners of all levels will descend upon the Vegas Strip on November 16-17
to participate in the 2019 Humana Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas Marathon & 1/2
Marathon for a one-of-a-kind nighttime race experience. Approximately
40,000 runners will take in the sights and sounds of Vegas as they run on
the Stirp and pass the iconic 'Welcome to Las Vegas' sign, the Bellagio
Fountains, Fremont Street, downtown Las Vegas, and The Volcano at the
Mirage Hotel & Casino. With runners coming from all 50 states, last year
saw 86 countries, regions and territories from as far as United Arab
Emirates, Australia, China, and South Africa represented for their chance
to Run the Strip at Night™ on the famed Las Vegas Boulevard.
