In a bizarre tragedy, winner Robert Kipkoech Cheruiyot fell backwards at the finish line of the 2006 Chicago Marathon and suffered a mild concusion that kept him in the hospital for two nights.
Kipkoech Cheruiyot was the winner of the 2006 Boston Marathon and with the 2006 Chicago Marathon he became the leader of the World Marathon Majors Series.
Kipkoech Cheruiyot will be among the favorites at the 2007 Boston Marathon.
