Runners in the Half Marathon are mostly from New England, but some will
travel from Africa, Europe, and Central America to the starting line with a
record crowd of 6,000 runners. The database of entrants in the 2010 B.A.A.
Half Marathon is located here
-(http://www.baa.org/2010/cfHalf/Public/EntryLists.cfm). The field of
professional runners who will vie for a total prize money purse of $30,000
will be released in the coming weeks.
The B.A.A. Half Marathon is presented annually by Dana-Farber Cancer
Institute and The Jimmy Fund. Through its Running the Race Against CancerĀ®
team of participants, more than 500 B.A.A. Half Marathon runners will
advance cancer research and improve patient care through their fundraising
efforts. Interested runners who have missed the chance to register through
the B.A.A. may still be able to join the Dana-Farber team. To learn more,
