Grandma's Marathon Registration to Close June 1
Additional Volunteers Needed for Marathon Weekend
(Duluth, Minn.) Registration for the 34th running of Grandma's Marathon
will remain open through Tuesday, June 1, race officials announced today.
As of today, the nation's 13th largest marathon has more than 7,100 in the
field for the June 19 event. Runners can sign up for the annual Two
Harbors-to-Duluth race by visiting www.GrandmasMarathon.com. The 2010 entry
fee is $85.
Last year's champions, Chris Raabe and Mary Akor, both are expected to

services, racecourse entertainment, race packet pick-up and finish area
activities. Service organizations, large groups and individuals are all
welcome and encouraged to participate. Each volunteer receives an official
2010 volunteer T-shirt, refreshment tickets and an invitation to the
Grandma's Marathon volunteer party on Sunday, June 27 at Grandma's Sports
Garden.
