Grandma's Marathon Big Top Tent Entertainment
Country Music Stars Love and Theft to Headline Friday
(Duluth, Minn.) Come for the race, stay for the party. Just make sure to be
in the Big Top Tent during Grandma's Marathon for the weekend's best live
entertainment.
Country music duo Love and Theft will be in Duluth for the first time at
Grandma's Marathon's Big Top Tent on Friday, June 20.
Showcasing their distinctive style, sparkling harmonies, and sonic depth,
Love and Theft is made up of singer/songwriters Stephen Barker Liles and
Eric Gunderson. They first hit the scene with their debut single "Runaway"
which landed in the top 10 on the Billboard Country Charts. They followed
it up with their #1 platinum hit, "Angel Eyes," from their self-titled
album. The album also yielded "If You Ever Get Lonely," "Running Out of
Air," and fan-favorite "Amen." Their latest single, "Night That You'll
Never Forget," is the first release from their new album due out later this
year.
Love and Theft have been nominated for numerous awards from Country Music
Television (CMT), the Country Music Association (CMA), and the Academy of
Country Music (ACM). In 2013, they won CMT's Duo Video of the Year for
their music video "Runnin' Out of Air."
Singer and songwriter Ashley Monroe will be opening up Friday night's show.
She has released solo albums such as Satisfied and Like a Rose, sang
background for Wanda Jackson, and most recently contributed vocals to
Train's new single "Bruises." In 2011, along with friend Miranda Lambert,
Monroe helped form the Pistol Annies, which have released the albums Hell
on Heels and Annie Up.

Advance tickets are on sale now for Friday for $20 at www.events.grandmas
marathon.com. Friday and Saturday night discounted ticket packages are
available for $25, if purchased by June 18. After June 18, tickets must be
purchased at the door the night of the show.
Saturday's energetic lineup is sure to satisfy all music tastes. Artists
performing Saturday include Rage N Country, Pop Rocks, Rhino, and evening
headliner, Aer. A Saturday daytime lineup begins at 11:30 a.m. and features
a free show open to all ages. The Saturday evening show is for those 21
years and older.
The party lasts all weekend long at the Grandma's Marathon Big Top Tent.
