Berkshire Bank Returns as Presenting Sponsor of
The Memorial Day Marathon Races
The Memorial Day Marathon Races are excited to announce the return of
Berkshire Bank as the presenting sponsor of the annual race weekend held in
Lenox, MA. Berkshire Bank, America's Most Exciting Bank, has been an
integral part of the growth of the MDM Races which has doubled attendance
in the last three years to over 1200 runners last year. Race organizers
expect over 1500 runners to take place in 2013.
Assistant Vice President of Community Relations at Berkshire Bank, Lori
Gazzillo, remarked, "We are so pleased to once again support this great
event that kicks off the summer season right in our backyard. This was a
natural fit for us as it brings energy and excitement to Berkshire County,
appeals to a wide regional audience and supports a very worthy
organization, Team Red, White and Blue, which provides support and
resources to returning veterans." In additional to serving as presenting
sponsor of the MDM Races, Berkshire Bank will also be the title sponsor of
the Kids Run on Saturday May 25, 2013 at 9 AM. Berkshire Bank customers and
employees will also receive a special 10% discount on race registration and
they will be supporting a cheer station on site.
The 4th Annual Memorial Day Marathon Races will take place on May 25-26,
2013, starting and finishing at Tanglewood in Lenox, MA. The races will
feature the Memorial Day Marathon, known as "The Toughest Race in the
East", The MDM 1/2 Marathon, The Berkshires 10K/5K, The MDM 15K Trail Race,
The Trail-Road Challenge and The Berkshire Bank Kids Run. A portion of the
