Valley of the Sun Marathon for Documentary
MESA, Ariz.—March 7, 2005—Producers from Britton Sports Productions, a
multimedia production company specializing in sports video productions,
will be at Sunday's Valley of the Sun Marathon to create a 60-minute
documentary about the event’s festivities. Starting on Thursday, a film
crew will begin following race director Sue Berliner as she prepares to
launch the fifth edition of the race, which traverses much of the East
Valley.
The production will include video course maps, pre- and post-race
festivities, behind-the-scenes action and interviews with elite runners.
Race participants will also have an opportunity to be interviewed and
included in the final production.
"Not only will the documentary showcase the race and its participants, it
will also highlight the communities and businesses throughout the East
Valley. This production is sure to generate a lot of exposure," said
Berliner. "We invite anyone who wants to be a part of the fun to come out
and see some great racing action."
Marathons documented by Britton Sports Productions this year include
Carlsbad, Florida Gulf Beaches, Callaway Gardens and Pacific Shoreline.
