I love this race. It is well organized, easy to get to, easy to run and the jackets and medals are fabulous. I can't wait to run again next year!

The race was a pleasant surprise. Very well-organized, lots of big-race features in a nice smaller, community race. Excellent start line experience, pleasant course through shaded neighborhoods, and a couple of miles running through the beautiful Texas A&M campus. Plentiful on-course aid stations, even more portapotties than stated at race website. Runners get a techinical shirt with packet and a nice finisher jacket at the finish line.

I ran the half-marathon. Great event! Great people, swag, and course. Loved the finisher's jacket (very unique!). Expo was easy to get in/out of.

A well organized race with great volunteers. The course is flat to rolling and largely run on concrete. Water and Gatorade stations were well positioned. A nice finishers medal and sweatshirt. Runners enjoyed fruit, berritos and beer at the finish.

"Very family friendly. Small and personal." (about: 2017)

Great race. Had all the information I needed prior to race day. Race was very family-friendly. I've run larger races but still really enjoyed this one because it was just big enough to not feel alone on the course but small enough to where I wasn't elbowing to move forward or anything. I would highly recommend this race!

"Best Marathon in Texas" (about: 2017)

Organization was amazing. Parking was at a mall with plenty of spots. We walked across the street and there was the start. Water stations every 1.5 miles with plenty of volunteers. Course was great. Some rolling hills mile 9-13 going around a golf course. The rest of the race was pretty flat. The end of the course we race through Texas A&M University. Not as many fans along the course as I expected. Still a good turn out though. It might have been because it was 35 degrees at start time. Good food and drinks after the race. Finisher Jacket is awesome. I will do this race again.
