"Best race in Texas" (about: 2017)
6-10 previous marathons
| 6+ Bryan/College Station Marathons
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 From sign up to the finish line, the BCS Marathon does not disappoint. Communication is fantastic. The course is entertaining. The post-race party is the best! The best part of the race is turning the last corner toward the finish line and seeing all the smiling faces of all children that have been served through the work of the primary charity, Mercy Project. This is a race we'll continue to do as long as we can run.

"Organized-informative-invested in runner's success" (about: 2017)
11-50 previous marathons
| 3 Bryan/College Station Marathons
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 This is the best race because it is impeccably organized, information is sent out weekly to make sure every one is squared away and as race day approaches information is reiterated so everything runs smoothly. The volunteers and cheer sections are amazing. They're everywhere on the course so you feel motivated the whole time. The course is set up so your family and friends can spot you at multiple points throughout with ease. At the finish line you're congratulated with hugs and high-fives by the race directors. I've never felt more welcomed at a race than I do at the BCS.

"Brilliant Race" (about: 2017)
First Marathon
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 This was my first half marathon, and I'm so glad that I chose to run the BCS half marathon as my first. My only other experience with a big race is the Marine Corps Marathon, which I went to in 2010 and 2011 to support my mom. The BCS marathon, while smaller, rivals the Marine Corps Marathon in race environment, organization, and overall atmosphere. The spectators were great and the volunteers were fabulous as well. Highly recommend this marathon/half marathon!

"Everything about this race was awesome" (about: 2017)
4-5 previous marathons
| 1 Bryan/College Station Marathon
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 I loved the course- it was mainly flat, good scenery, and I never had to dodge a car, police did a great job of blocking off the road and stopping traffic. The spectators signs gave me a good laugh and I enjoyed reading them. The vendors at the post race were solid also.
