"Well organised, great atmosphere - terrible course" (about: 2003)

This was a great marathon let down by the course. Outside the city itself we ran out through docks, factories and depressing scenery only to have to double back into the city.
Out again through more pleasant scenery, but again full of twists and turns as if they were struggling to make the 42.2k. Ending up uphill this was not an enjoyable race, but the city itslef made up for it and great fish restaurants.
