"Our Capitol Again" (General Comments)
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 I just finished my first Marine Corps last Sunday, and my words cannot adequately describe the feeling of running with thousands of other freedom-loving marathoners (isn't freedom what distance running is all about?) through the broad streets and past the symbolic structures of our great nation's capitol. You bet I and thousands more will be back for this momentous inaugural run of the D.C. Marathon--good luck, race organizers!

"U.S.A." (General Comments)
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 I look forward to a positive experience of love, healing and hope. My thoughts, hopes and belief's lie within the vast love of the human spirit. I cannot wait until March 24, 2002. U.S.A.!!!

"expensive" (about: 2001)
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 2 FANS: 5 On the good side: the course looks more interesting (actual hills!) than Marine Corp. On the bad side: significantly more expensive than any of the other marathons around the area. Obviously, taking advantage of the situation where thousands of people are being turned away from MCM. They get a point for using Gatorade but lose points for having no food stops.

"Brand New Race" (General Comments)
COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 4 FANS: 5 If the fans and the course are anything like the Marine Corps, this could be a great one... |
