COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 This was my first half-marathon, and I must say it was an amazing experience. As a first time runner I was intimidated going in, but the support of the fans on the course, the organizational team was wonderful and the enthusiasm was palpable. I could not have asked for anything more!

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 This was my first year to run this race. WOW!!! The race director was AMAZING and continued to give updates regarding the weather, the course, the expo, etc. I always felt well informed and knew exactly who to contact if I had questions. The post race was unheard of! The food was fantastic, the kids handing out medals melted hearts and all the faces of the kids from Africa were truly inspiring! Thank you to every single person that had anything to do with setting up, organizing, handing out water/gatorade, etc. It was EPIC!!!!

"Great Race, Wonderful Organization and Communicati" (about: 2013)
4-5 previous marathons
| 1 Bryan/College Station Marathon
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4 WOW! BCS is a wonderful race. They were super organized, shared lots of communication on Facebook and email, and took care of the runners. They even opened up extra spots for those who couldn't run Dallas (weather cancellation) and were very kind to allow last minute deferrals if people were stuck in bad weather areas. They went above and beyond! Great swag: travel foam roller, 2 shirts and a nice medal. Spectators were light in some areas but BCS organized cheer stations that were SO fun in the last 10 miles.

"Best Marathon in Texas" (about: 2013)
4-5 previous marathons
| 1 Bryan/College Station Marathon
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 This race was well organized and fun. It was impossible to stop running because I was so excited to see what was going to be around the corner! Not only did the race directors and race team make it phenomenal, but the community came out and offered up goodies and encouragement in epic proportion. I was offered everything from breakfast burritos to donuts. I even finished the race with a beer in hand! The medals were beautiful. The most touching and inspiring moment of all came at the finish line, when the children with down syndrome placed the medal around my neck.

1 previous marathon
| 1 Bryan/College Station Marathon
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 Another well organized event with much better weather than last year. Keep up the awesome event and I will come back every year. The course change to a downhill finish was much appreciated on an injured right leg. No PR on this day, but a proud finish. |
