"The best marathon in Texas." (about: 2013)
11-50 previous marathons
| 2 Bryan/College Station Marathons
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 I ran the half marathon and everything about it was great. The Dallas Marathon was cancelled the day before BCS, and the race director offered Dallas runners the opportunity to run BCS. The race course is flat and offers a chance to set a P.R. We received two shirts, a foam roller, and the best post race food ever. The race director communicates through Facebook and emails. The night before the race we received some freezing rain and there was some question if the race would go on. With only a hours sleep he posted updates letting us know each hour the status of the race. Great job by race director Chris Field and his assistant Jared.

"Best Race for Runners of all Types!!" (about: 2013)
4-5 previous marathons
| 3 Bryan/College Station Marathons
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 I've had the privilege of running this race every year it has been in existence! It is by far the most organized race (incl. marathon, half marathon, triathlon, bike race, 5k, etc.) I've ever done by a long shot! The runners are given the best possible treatment and the race has this personal feel to it, where you know your best interest is at heart and you feel a part of a family of runners rather than just a number. I highly recommend this race to anyone and everyone! Our family runs it every year!

"Awesome first Marathon Experience" (about: 2013)
1 previous marathon
| 1 Bryan/College Station Marathon
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 The race organizer opened the race up the Friday before the race to allow runners from the cancelled Dallas marathon to get a chance to run. The organizer went above and beyond to accommodate the 'Dallas refuges'. The event was so organized, the volunteers were awesome and there were plenty of spectators along the course. The kids putting the medals around your neck was the icing on the cake!. Great race Great time great first marathon. Thank you Chis!

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 I'm tempted to get a fourth degree from Texas A&M University just so I can be in town to run this race again! The BCS Marathon + Half Marathon is flawlessly executed and has such a heartfelt connection to the community.

"Class Act all around!!" (about: 2013)

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 This is the 2nd year I have run the BCS Full Marathon. The communication is top notch, you can't miss it between e-mail, Facebook and twitter they have you covered. The organization is awesome, plenty of police directing traffic, and volunteers to make sure you are going the right way. I gave the spectators 5 stars this year because this was the most improved part of the race. It was a lot of fun to have people cheering for us, even though we were the back of the back. The medical staff was there every step of the way to check on us and make sure we didn't need anything. I will be back next year to run the half marathon since I haven't run it yet. I'm sure it will be fabulous!

"My favorite race" (about: 2013)
2 previous marathons
| 1 Bryan/College Station Marathon
COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4 I have run the 1/2 marathon for the last two years with this race. This year I braved the marathon. The course was tough and kicked my butt, but I love a course with a challenge. The race directors are awesome. They kept us update on the weather and any changes that might be happening with the course throughout the week and up until an hour prior to the race. I have run a lot of races and can honestly say this is my favorite.
