Was slated for Dallas but with the cancellation, this race turned out to be the perfect and only option for the same weekend. Chris and crew went above and beyond in accommodating Dallas runners. Amazing!!! Def a top race in my book.

As long as I am able, I will never miss this race. I love everything about it. It's for a good cause, the entire race team is supportive, friendly, and organized, the course was great last year and it was even better this year. The spectators absolutely blew me away with all of their support. The volunteers were amazing. I can't say enough good things about this race.

Flat course with a few rolling small hills mixed in. Being one of the runners that was affected by the Dallas marathon cancellation, the race director Chris was amazing at getting over 450 extra runners in to BCS Marathon after it filled.. Constant communication both on email and up to date pics and encouragement on fb! Also having the kids from Down Syndrome Association give us our medals-EPIC! This marathon gives back to numerous charities! Best marathon in Texas!

Super communication leading up to the race. Always knew what was going on even with the weather and road conditions. Loved the course for the half. The support from the neighborhoods and organizations on the TAMU campus was great to see. Definitely will make this next year.

This was my first 1/2. The organization of this race - from registration to encouragement & communication was first class all the way. Race day was no exception. What an epic first experience!

Great job BCS!

We were Dallas Marathon refugees (Dallas was cancelled due to weather) and signed up for BCS the Friday before b/c they opened up extra spots for us. We were gladly surprised.

Course- There are some long stretches of boring road, however, it is a rewarding run and the Texas A&M campus for the latter miles gives you something to look forward to (this coming from a Red Raider).

Organization- This race is very well run, good communication (emails leading up to the race (weather was a concern for BCS too)), and the volunteers are incredible. LOTS of them at every water station.

Spectators- Having run Los Angeles, NYC, and Marine Corp, I was still very impressed. There are not huge masses, but those that show up are very vocal and very supportive. The girl in the bikini mile 22, WOW!

I truly felt like they cared about each and everyone of the runners. There was ample food, drinks, aide for everyone. The communication was GREAT! It was very organized. I had a question and it was answered within an hour. The cities of Bryan and College Station had friendly people helping keep the roads cleared while cheering the runners on. They really make you feel like this race is all about you!
