I ran my first BCS 1/2 Marathon in 2012 and immediately signed up to run in 2013 because this race is just plain awesome! It's a great course with bits of Bryan, College Station, and Texas A&M campus. The preparation is the best I've experienced, and I love their use of social media and email for updates. The on - campus spectator groups were so fun! Loved every minute!

You could not ask for a more responsive race team. Volunteers that are exceptional. There were so many great touches along the way: gummy bears were by far everyone's favorite! There was not a I that wasn't dotted or a T left uncrossed. With all the weather condition leading up to the race, y'all did a seamless job to make it look like there had been no challenges along the way. Enjoyed learning about the Mercer Project as well. Great job. Melts my heart. The race expo on Saturday was also very well organized and something that just makes y'all another top notch act. I'll will continue to spread the word about your race and look forward to running it again!

BCS Marathon is incredible. The hype Chris gets going a full 12 months in advanced is amazing. It keeps you pumped and focused all year. The spectators are the biggest highlight. The town gets so involved, you forget you are running as you are waving and laughing at signs. I don't have a negative word to say about this marathon.

This was my first year to run BCS. I was a Dallas runner but was accepted with open arms to BCS. This race is organized so well that the last minute registration was so easy and packet pickup was flawless. Chris and all the volunteers are the BEST of the BEST. Thank you so much for such an amazing event. I will see you in 2014!!!

This was my second year running this race. It is by far my favorite! So many great things to mention....course, people, organization. You really feel appreciated and not just another number running a corporate race. The best part...seeing the faces of those that benefit from the charitable donations from the race. How often does this happen? Love it...I'll be back next year! :-)

"Amazing Race!" (about: 2013)

This was my second year to run the BCS half marathon. Everything from communication via Facebook and e-mail, race expo, shirts, swag-all runners received a travel size foam roller at the expo, medals, course support and post race food ( cheeseburgers, pizza rolls, breakfast tacos and strawberry tarts!) was top notch! The race director really seems dialed in to what the runners might enjoy along the course. This race benefits the Mercy Project and on the final turn, lining the finish line, were photos of the 40 children who are being rescued as part of this effort. The race director was at the finish line offering hugs and high-fives as we crossed. Nice touch. As a graduate of Texas A&M, running through the campus brought back so many wonderful memories. I'll definitely run this again in 2014. Thanks!

"Absolutely amazing!" (about: 2013)

The BCS is super-organized with constant communication between the organizers and runners via Facebook and e-mail. They offered informative educational sessions for local runners, which were very helpful for me, since this was my first half marathon.

The race day atmosphere was amazing - lots of spectators, water/Gatorade stations, snack station around mile 9 for the half, lots of food and drink at the finish, and, my personal favorite, large photos of the children rescued by The Mercy Project (main benefactor of the race) in Ghana lining the last couple hundred yards of the race. It's very special to know I didn't just run a race - I helped out an organization that does life-saving work.
