"Best race I have ever ran" (about: 2013)

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 I ran the BCS half marathon on December 9th. Extremely organized, friendly, and fun race! Constant communication through emails and social media a month prior to the race! Spectators and volunteers were just amazing! Nothing better than the spirit of Aggieland! Above all this race benefits some great causes! The mercy project which helps stop human trafficking in Africa and Down syndrome children association! At the end of the race your medal is given to you by a child with Down syndrome... It's a heart warming moment! Post race party is fabulous! Tons of fruit, tacos, pizza, and beer! Couldn't ask for more! This is how every race should be!

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 I so thoroughly enjoyed this race. The crowd was great and the volunteers really made us runners feel special. I think I may be spoiled now, because I'm going to expect every race from here on out to be like this one.

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 Even with bad weather, this race is the best experience ever! From updates up to the very last hour before the race, to supporting ALL runners. Great course planning, great volunteers and cheering the whole way. This race is oriented for the runner to have the best experience. This is my second time running this race and it keeps getting better and better! I will be there next year!

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4 Wow - they went out of their way for the runners. I felt like they really cared about the runners and that everyone had a great experience. Also, the fact that they let people defer due to weather was amazing. They didn't have to do that.

"This race is top notch, all the way around!" (about: 2013)

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 I have completed over 200 races (trail, track, and road ranging from 800m to half marathon) and I have to say, the BCS Marathon + Half Marathon takes the cake for the best race I have ever done, and I do not believe it can be topped. I've never been to a race where every single person, not just most, but EVERY SINGLE PERSON that helps put on the race cares so much about each runner's racing experience before, during, and after the race. It gets even better when you find out they have AN ENTIRE RACE SERIES with races put on by the same group of people year-round. Whether the BCS Marathon + Half Marathon will be your first, hundredth, or even thousandth race, you will never find a more personal and encouraging race experience. As the title says, this race is top notch, all the way around!

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 I am so impressed by this BCS Marathon. They have impressed me from the very beginning - sign up through the race end. It was the most organized I have every been a part of and I am truly thankful to have ran it this morning (even despite the freezing weather). I will be back next year for sure!

"Always a special race" (about: 2013)
6-10 previous marathons
| 3 Bryan/College Station Marathons
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 There's something special about racing in Aggieland, especially with a race as well-run as this one. I've run this race for the past 3-years and it keeps getting better and better. Loved the course this year as it included more of the A&M campus& and eliminated that hill at the end of the race. Awesome charity too. Great job to everyone who organized and volunteered!
