"Average mid-size race." (about: 2018)
11-50 previous marathons
| 6+ Bryan/College Station Marathons
COURSE: 3 ORGANIZATION: 3 FANS: 5 Best thing is that it's local and I don't have to travel. No shelter at finish, so it can be very cold after running. Some heavy traffic one lane over on major thoroughfares. Water before Gatorade at break stations. Too many Facebook posts that are just self hype rather than informative. Like, "Hey look cool shirts." Of the 5 or 6 years I have run this race, two years I have no pictures, even though my bib is front and center.

"-THE BEST- Marathon for beginners and pros!" (about: 2018)
4-5 previous marathons
| 4-5 Bryan/College Station Marathons
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 I've run this marathon five times now, and it just gets better every year. The race is extraordinarily well organized, with plenty of volunteers cheering you on, numerous well-stocked stations during the course (with food, water, Gatorade, fruit, candy, and medical supplies), and lots of support from the Bryan/College Station communities. The course is nice and flat, and is the perfect place to either run your first marathon or set a PR. You will not find a better marathon in the state of Texas!

"Great route, aid stations & volunteers were amazin" (about: 2018)

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 Can't go wrong when there is an aid station every few miles, if that and the volunteers spoiled us by peeling our oranges for us! Who does that? BCS aid station on campus! Whoop! Course was great and I'm thrilled to have finished my first marathon. The free training plan is a GIFT! THANK YOU!
